In 2015 we are celebrating our 175th year of service.  On July 18, 1840 St. Johannes Kirche was founded by German Immigrants.   A group of German Evenagelical Protestants organized the church as a German Evangelical Congregation.  The congregation has changed their name a few times over the years and is currently the St. John's United Church of Christ.

Through the years St. John's has played a major part of Dayton's, Education and Health Care fields.
