What is the United Church of Christ?
St. John's United Church of Christ is part of the 1.5 million
member United Church of Christ with over 6,000 churches throughout the
world.
The religious heritage stems from the great traditions of the
Protestant Reformation: Lutheran, Reformed, Christian and English
Congregational. These traditions were brought to America by Protestants
fleeing persecution to Europe.
